Hi, I'm Julianna.
I'm a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor and the founder of Chandelle Counseling & Wellness. I work with adult women in Maryland who are ready to understand the patterns that have quietly shaped their lives — the people-pleasing, the self-doubt, the constant feeling of carrying too much — and begin to shift them.
This work found me for personal reasons as much as professional ones. I know what it's like to put everyone else first and to realize at some point that you've spent years prioritizing everyone else's comfort over your own. That experience shaped how I practice. I come to this work with both professional training and a genuine understanding of what it takes to start choosing yourself.
I've always been drawn to the question of why — why we repeat certain patterns, why some relationships feel so familiar even when they're painful. That curiosity led me to specialize in attachment-based, trauma-informed therapy with women who grew up in homes where their emotional needs weren't consistently met. Many clients tell me they felt at ease in our very first session in a way they didn't expect — I work hard to create a space that feels warm, unhurried, and safe from the start.
My Background
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential. I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland, practicing under the supervision of Erin Spahr, LCPC, LCMHC, PMH-C. My approach draws from attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and relational and psychodynamic frameworks.
Working Together
I offer individual telehealth therapy for adult women throughout Maryland. If you're wondering whether this might be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect and talk through what working together might look like.
You've spent a long time putting yourself last. This can be the beginning of something different.
